• Health professional registration as an MD, DDS, RN, EMT-P, ACP, RT, or Military QL-5 or above.
• In lieu of SAIT course CPRS 001, Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada will also be accepted.
• In lieu of SAIT course EMED 001, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider certification from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada will also be accepted.
• In lieu of SAIT course EMED 005, Core Instructor certification from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada will also be accepted.

Please note that only the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada certifications may be used to meet the course pre-requisites. Cards from other providers such as Red Cross or St. John Ambulance do not meet the pre-requisites for this course.

Other Information:

• Applications are accepted up to three weeks prior to the course start date.
• In order to pass this course and be registered as instructors, participants must succesfully monitor at an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider level.
• Course materials and GST are included in the course fee.
• Transfers, cancellations, or refunds will only be processed if notice is received 10 full business days prior to the course start date.
• Administration fees and course materials are non-refundable.
