CNTR 229 - Process Systems Control I
Course Description
The process systems control course offers an introduction to simple feedback control as it is used in the process control industry.
Control systems learning topics include feedback loop architecture, characteristics of the loop and its functional blocks, the measurement, and the control valve. The steady state and dynamic responses of first-order elements and their effects on a feedback control loop are also emphasized.
