PWEN 004 - Special Boiler Operator

Course Description
The purpose of this special boiler operator course is to familiarize you with the principles of design, operation, and maintenance of small high-pressure boilers, such as those found in dry cleaning plants, laundries, small breweries and food processing plants. This training also prepares you to write the Alberta Government Examination for the Special Boiler Operator Certificate, which qualifies the holder to exercise general supervision of the specific power plant (not exceeding 250 kW in capacity) named on the Certificate.

This SAIT course aligns with ABSA Special Boiler Operators syllabus, AB-57 Edition, Rev 1, 2017-09.
