MNGT 116 - Retail Business Environment

Course Description
The retail landscape has changed dramatically over the past number of years. This course offers an overview of the modern retail marketplace and how it has transformed through the integration and use of technology and different shopping mediums. You will examine the challenges this now presents to retail business and identify strategies necessary to remain competitive. You will examine the stakeholder supply chain, and the changing nature of retail stakeholders and their expectations. Through the development of a stakeholder analysis of your organization, you will identify potential gaps and approaches on how to manage these challenges successfully. In the final component of this course, you will explore a systematic approach to business decision making through the use of proven tools and techniques in order to make sound and successful decisions.
