PETR 219 - Unconventional Petroleum A

Course Description
The Unconventional Petroleum course offers four levels designed to give participants an in-depth look at the specific technologies and techniques used by the unconventional petroleum industry. Topics include an introduction to thermal and steam assisted gravity drilling (SAGD), oil sands and coalbed methane extraction.

Level A has 6 modules:

PETR 6026 Geological Setting

PETR 6027 Introduction to Heavy Oil Deposits

PETR 6028 Cold Production

PETR 6029 Enhanced Recovery

PETR 6030 Pipelines and Facilities

PETR 6031 Heavy Oil Marketing
