EMED 005 - ALS Core Instructor

Course Description
This Advanced Life Support (ALS) course provides the foundational training required to become an instructor with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Upon successful completion, you will be able to apply effective communication techniques, develop instructional plans, manage the classroom environment and promote knowledge transfer and retention. Part of the course will also involve teaching practice with peer and instructor feedback. It is recommended that learners begin reviewing the course materials two to four weeks prior to the course start date.
