CPNT 111 - Incidence Response and Forensics Course Description This course examines the basics of malware construction and analysis as well as the systematic examination of infected systems. You will learn to analyze infected systems, monitor actual attacks and create custom buffer overflows for Quality Assurance (QA) testing.
The forensics portion of the course follows rigorous documentation procedures to help ensure the acceptability of any evidence collected. While investigating examples of computer crimes you will learn to judge the appropriate use of common methods of encryption.
