FLDS 101 - Fluid Dynamics

Course Description
This course explores the principles of fluid dynamics as applied to flowing systems in the petroleum industry. You will learn how forces affect fluids by studying density, pressure, flow rate calculations, Bernouli’s equation, energy calculations, power requirements and pumping equipment.

Additional fluid dynamics topics include problem-solving strategies related to fluid properties, and how to perform pressure calculations. You will also perform calculations involving fluid flow through pipes solve problems using the general energy equation.
