HREL 002 - Diversity in the Workplace Course Description This course focuses on understanding, incorporating and working successfully with diversity in the Canadian workplace. Learn the strategic importance of creating a better working environment in your business by recognizing issues related to diverse groups. Discussions will include the meaning of culture, how culture has influenced your personal beliefs and values, and identification of the many varied groups that make up our modern understanding of diversity.
We will cover topics such as stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination and harassment, while offering solutions to these and other workplace diversity issues. Leave this training with the ability to analyze systems in your workplace with respect to diversity and the awareness required to apply effective strategies to improve these systems and your business.
