CNST 004 - Technical Representative Course Description This course has been developed to support the training of those interested in pursuing a career, or increasing their skills, as a technical representative.
The construction industry has developed complex processes, structures, and documentation that provide the cohesion necessary for the successful completion of projects. You will learn techniques for how technical representatives ensure that all individuals involved in a project understand their roles and responsibilities, their contractual obligations and the process by which a project will be constructed. You will also gain an understanding of construction products, materials, required systems, and the unique structural and aesthetic parameters intended to meet the needs of owners.
Successful completion of this course is one component of the requirements for the Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) certification process as a Certified Technical Representative (CTR).
