CNTR 221 - Fire Detection and Alarm Systems - ECAA
Course Description
This course is designed for pre-1991 journeymen wanting to be certified to perform maintenance on fire alarm systems. This is an Alberta certification course. Topics include; operation and “hands-on” experience of single stage systems, two stage systems, and multiplexed systems. You review the design and regulations for systems through pertinent codes and regulations such as The Alberta Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code, Underwriters Laboratories of Canada and Alberta Fire Code. This course is delivered in a combination of home study, computer managed learning and hands-on lab.
