HYDR 110 - Pipeline Design and Operations Course Description This course is intended for facilities, pipeline, operation engineers and technologists as well as for field operating and pipeline control room personnel. The two-day course will provide students with theory and operational aspects of fluid transportation.
This liquid pipeline hydraulics - design and operations course provides an understanding of key components of pipeline system including safety and environmental issues. The focus is to improve technical communication among the design, field and office personnel in order to enhance operational efficiencies and reinforce important concepts.

- Pressure drop - due to friction and elevation change
- Codes and standards - CSA Z662
- Pump design and selection
- Pipeline pigging system
- Pipeline repair and maintenance
