RREG 118 - Surface Development Regulations Course Description This course provides an insight into surface development regulations related to oil and gas activities. You will learn about relevant “surface land tenure” terms related to the Canadian oil and gas industry, jurisdictional authorities responsible for oil and gas surface tenure issuance. You will also learn to differentiate between common surface land tenures and their associated uses, and evaluate the impact of long-term planning strategies for surface land on existing and future oil and gas developments. Engineers, Geologists, Mineral Land Analysts, Surface Land Administrators, Joint Venture Administrators, Land Agents, Field Supervisors and Operations Managers will benefit greatly from taking this course.
