RREG 113 - Stakeholder Relations Course Description This course provides an introduction to the complex and evolving area of stakeholder relations. Stakeholders and their concerns are divided into groups before examining the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) regulations on stakeholder relations. Case studies are used to demonstrate how the regulations can be applied and the course concludes with a look at the dispute resolution process. You will learn about different types of stakeholders and the concerns or conflicting interests that they may have. You will also learn about the mechanisms in place to resolve disputes between stakeholder groups and project proponents, and the significance of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Mineral Land Administrators, Surface Land Administrators, Joint Venture (JV) will benefit greatly from this course.
