DRLG 106 - Introduction to Drilling Course Description This course provides an introduction to conventional and directional oil and gas well drilling. You will be given opportunities to explore key topics, which include legal survey systems, equipment and materials used to drill wells including the main components that make up the drill string assembly.
Then we’ll explain drilling fluids, well control, casing design and cementing and fishing.
