ELAW 104 - Introduction to the Union Employee
Course Description
This course will provide a manager with a basic understanding of the interaction between management and unions in a unionized workplace or in an organization that has the potential to become unionized. You will cover a basic review of the law governing the union relationship and the impact of those laws on the employer. You will also review the legal challenges associated with certification process and negotiation of the collective agreement.
