TOUR 101 - Introduction to Tourism
Course Description
This course will provide an overview of the tourism industry and its impact on the economy and community culture. The role of the federal, provincial and local governments is reviewed along with related industry associations and partnerships. All industry sectors of tourism will be examined in terms of inter-relationships. Students will participate in a tour of a local attraction/ destination.
