CHEM 150 - Physical Properties Course Description This course is designed to provide students with a practical understanding and knowledge of the Physical Properties of matter allowing them to distinguish between organic and inorganic compounds. They will be able to perform chemical calculations, describe how chemical reactions take place, and how matter is important in describing the physical nature of compounds and elements. This course also describes Viscosity and Metallurgy to help students understand how these properties are important in the flow of fluids through pipelines and how metallurgy plays an important role in deciding how metals and alloys are chosen to perform certain functions for specific jobs.
