CSTN 159 - Drywall Installation and Finishing

Course Description
This hands-on course introduces learners to drywall principles. Learners will be exposed to safety practices, identify the correct tools and material for each stage of the project, learn how to install drywall boards, and apply taping and texture materials.

Hands-on projects include:

Prepare, install and inspect drywall boards on walls and ceilings.
Apply first coat, taping and sanding including inspection/prefill, taping, bead application, and coating/sanding.
Conduct finishing techniques including priming, touch-up, patching and ceiling texturing.
