HREL 003 - Instructional Design and Development Course Description This instructional design and development course is designed for instructors who want to develop and design training programs. You will learn a six-step process for designing an effective training program that will ensure a return on training investment. Discover how to design a course with clear outcomes and specific learning objectives and how to link learning material, activities and skill-based outcomes. We will also distinguish different learning mediums and show you how to create a cost-effective blended learning environment.
You will learn needs assessment techniques, and various approaches to assessing and analyzing training requirements at the organizational, departmental and individual levels. You will also learn appropriate and meaningful exercises to maximize retention and ensure applicability once the course is completed.
