MNFG 002 - CNC - Introduction to Controllers Course Description This introductory course covers the operation of the Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machining technology. Material covered includes data input, graphics, safety parameters, cutter and tool length compensation, tool nose radius compensation, tool geometry, work offsets, manual and automatic operation. This training utilizes CNC control simulators. It is designed to give you familiarity with CNC controllers as a prerequisite to CNC Lathe (MNFG 216) and CNC Milling (MNFG 217).
