ROBT 001 - Introduction to Robotics Course Description This novice course is designed to introduce and practice skills in robotics using the EZ-Robot Revolution robots. Participants will assemble and program a rover-style robot while learning the basics of software and hardware integration. With no prior coding knowledge required, participants will design and program their robots to recognize specific objects, respond to speech, and even detect their emotions through industry-applicable techniques such as machine learning algorithms. By the end of the course, participants will have completed an open-ended design challenge and will have a working knowledge of graphical programming interfaces and basic scripting commands. The cost of the rover robot is included in the course fee, allowing the participant to continue their learning beyond the scope of the course.
