PTPR 001 - Petroleum Testing Lab

Course Description
This petroleum lab teaches the standard methods for the analysis of petroleum and petroleum products according to the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).  The tests performed in this lab course include: Hempel distillation, degree API measurement, Reid vapour pressure (RVP), viscosity measurement, brine water analysis, corrosion monitoring, and corrosion control.
