MNFG 001 - CNC - Introduction to Programming Course Description This programming course introduces you to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining terminology and codes. Learn to apply mathematics and machine code to create CNC programs. Additional learning topics include: using reference points to control machine motion; work zero offsets, tool length offsets and tool radius offsets for CNC machines; using fixed (canned) cycles and downloading part programs.

Technical Requirements Thorough knowledge of machining processes is essential. MACH 001 OR MACH 213, or permission of the program coordinator is required.
