CPNT 147 - Introduction to Scaling Networks

Course Description
This Scaling Networks course describes the hierarchical network design model and enterprise network architecture. Learn how to configure routers and switches in complex networks for advanced functionality.

By the end of this course, you will be able to configure a Wireless LAN and implement network redundancy in a small-to-medium network using STP, HSRP, VRRP and GLBP. You will also develop the knowledge and skills to configure and troubleshoot routers running multi-area OSPF or EIGRP routing protocols in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

This course is offered in a hybrid learning environment and students will be expected to do a considerable amount of work outside of the class using online resources. A significant portion of class time will be devoted to lab work and there will be additional lab time available on weekends.
