PIPE 114 - Pipeline Lab

Course Description
Using SAIT’s state-of-the-art Flow and Wellsite labs, this course will introduce you to fluid metering, valve types, pig launchers, piping, pressure and level transmitters. Emphasis will be on safety and enabling you to understand the equipment’s function and purpose by operating the equipment within an industrial setting. A case study review session will enable you to understand the related circumstances and the underlying root causes, which led to some recent major pipeline incidents.
