LDSH 159 - Articulating a Vision Course Description Vision and visionaries are a common theme in leadership scholarship. However, simply developing a vision is not enough. The exercise of leadership requires that a vision is clearly articulated and communicated. Communicating the vision powerfully and convincingly is the critical link between the vision and others’ potential contributions to achieving the vision. It is what inspires others to work toward that vision and stay focused on the vision. Most students of leadership agree that this ability creates and articulates a vision, and thus inspired and focused followers is the sine qua non of effective leadership and is a key element that separates leadership from management.
