CSTN 006 - Fences and Gates Course Description Fences are often built out of necessity as they provide privacy and personal/pet security. Fences are a practical addition to your property, however, that doesn’t mean they should not also be aesthetically pleasing and increase the value of your property.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of safety practices, regulations, materials, and building methods as they relate to the construction of fences and gates.
Hands-on Projects:
- Choose the “right tools for the job”
- Layout, plumb, and align posts
- Build fence panels including rails and fence boards
- Construct and hang a gate
