PLBG 108 - Homeowner’s Plumbing - Bathroom and Kitchen Renovation

This hands-on course introduces learners to the principles of bathroom and kitchen renovation as it relates to existing plumbing systems. Learners will be exposed to safety practices, layout requirements, methods for changing piping connections, installing water supply lines, and the removal and installation of fixtures. A demonstration of how to install plumbing fixtures into a vanity will also be provided.

Hands-on projects include:

• Use of equipment for removal and installation
• Running of water lines
• Isolating and draining waterlines
• Removal of existing bathroom/kitchen fixtures
• Installation and hook-up of new fixtures
