INSP 013 - X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Level I
Course Description
This first level X-Ray fluorescence (XRF) course provides a general understanding of XRF principles. Learn how to use XRF for Positive Material Identification (PMI) applications, including sources of error and how to minimize them. Instruction includes hands on use of the tube-based hand held XRF device. This course covers all material needed to write the Natural Resources Canada XRF 1 exam. Pre-Study will be required along with all application forms filled out prior to the course and exam.
