APSC 215 - Applied Physics for Instrumentation Course Description: The fundamentals of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics are explored and applied to problems encountered in industrial instrumentation applications. Topics include: viscosity, buoyancy, pressure, Bernoulli’s equation, pumps, as well as phase behaviour, steam tables and heat transfer. Theoretical concepts are reinforced through related lab activities.
