PHYF 310 - Facilities Management and Design

Course Description:
This course is an overview of the integrated approach of maintaining a facility and ensuring that it meets the primary objectives of the organization. We will examine the role played by maintenance and housekeeping in enhancing the guest experience and, at the same time, protecting the asset value of the facility. Areas addressed include property operation, maintenance, design, housekeeping, procurement, environmental considerations, and risk management.
