PWEN 251 - Power Qualification Theory I

This course will prepare you to write the Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) Fourth Class Power Engineer’s Certificate of Competency Part A exam. It includes materials and welding, piping and valves, basic electricity, basic control and instrumentation, pumps, low-pressure boiler design, high-pressure boiler design, fittings, parts and operation. You will also learn the theory that will supplement your practical experience in the lab and help you achieve the Certificate of Competency.
