HSCI 207 - Contact Lenses and Dispensing 1

Course Description:
This practical hands-on course builds on the knowledge obtained in Optical Dispensing 1 by providing learners with exposure to dispensing lab tools and equipment, as well as measuring and verifying single vision spectacle prescriptions.  The course also includes training with using the appropriate instruments to measure, assess, and fit contact lenses. Additionally, students will obtain and apply knowledge of soft and rigid contact maintenance and care.
