SYST 305 - Video Standards and Systems
Course Description:
Learners will be introduced to the concepts of video systems, starting with a detailed evaluation of what the term video means. Topics covered include analog and digital video standards and video compression standards. Existing and emerging technologies are discussed and compared to current standards. Emphasis is on analog and digital video and compression techniques used in a television system environment. Learners will participate in hands-on labs that support the theory and troubleshooting skills.
