ELEC 266 - Electrical Practices


Course Description:

Introductory concepts dealing with the principles of series, parallel and series parallel control circuits are verified. Push buttons, relays and timers will be used to achieve sequential and combinational control circuits. Motor starters and control circuits with devices such as limit switches, zero-speed switches and indicating lights are studied. In this course student performs experiments to illustrate principles developed in the theory course and continues to develop the hands-on skills required of an Electrical Engineering Technologist.
