SCMT 4020 - Logistics II Course Description: You will explore transportation and logistics from a strategic context. By evaluating different modes of transportation and determining how logistics provides value to the supply chain, you will be able to explain how logistics and transportation in the supply chain support the organization’s strategy and are fundamental in the creation of a competitive advantage. Topics covered: Global logistics and transportation, advanced topics in warehousing and distribution, decision making tools, strategic decision making, and impacts of transportation and logistics on supply chain management.
