MACH 380 - Machine Dynamics Course Description: Dynamic modeling and analysis of vibrating systems deals with free and forced vibrations with and without damping in translational and rotational motion. You will study practical applications and design to control the vibrational behavior of mechanical systems, focusing on the fundamental concepts of vibration analysis in mechanical systems. Applications include vibration isolation, whirling and balancing of shafts and offset loads in machinery. You will have the opportunity to practice vibrations measurement, monitoring, testing and processing vibrational data.
