HRMT 401 - Applied Human Resources Course Description: Businesses need staff in order to operate. In this course, students learn concepts relating to human resource management and planning in the context of a live hospitality enterprise. Students will learn the fundamentals of organizational behaviour, the roles and responsibilities of management, different management styles, recruitment, performance evaluation, training, compensation, and labour law. To demonstrate these concepts and skills, students will develop a human resources plan for the live business and the business plan.
