MATH 267 - Applied Mathematics for Machinists - 2 Course Description: This course is designed for students who are pursuing a career as a machinist technician or in a similar field. You will build on the math skills you’ve learned in the program and apply them to more complex trade-related problems, with units focused on geometry, trigonometry, measurements, conversions, ratios and proportions. You will also learn to use the Machinery’s Handbook to interpret tables, charts and graphs, and to perform calculations and apply geometric concepts to solve shop-related problems.
