ESTM 302 - Virtual Estimating

Course Description:
Construction take-off and measurement of qualities has advanced into an integrated approach involving models, prefabrication, and site scanning and beyond. This course looks on building on how to use 3D models, AR, VR, and other forms of modeling to estimate qualities of material and products to execute a project. In addition, the integration of these items into a model will provide the opportunity to add pricing for estimates or change orders. The courses will explore various tools, apps, and software available to provide accurate construction costing at all stages of the project.
