MOTR 217 - Lubrication, Cooling and Fuels

Course Description:
In this course, you will learn about engine lubrication system designs, components, operation and requirements, and learn to service and repair lubrication systems and oil pumps. You will also explore motorcycle cooling system components, operation and problems, and perform the testing, replacement and bleeding of coolant. Finally, you will explore the composition, ratings, additives and applications of fuels. The theory you learn in class will be reinforced in a range of hands-on shop activities.
