INST 265 - Programming for Instrumentation Description Visual Basic programming explores computer programming with respect to instrumentation applications. Programming techniques explored include flow-charts, pseudo-code, if…else statements, select…case statements, functions and Subroutines, the debugger and creating a macro in Microsoft Excel. Advanced techniques explored include looping techniques, arrays, data transfer and data acquisition. The second half of the term involves writing an application to interact with a P-only controller.
