PHYS 1011 - Introductory Physics Description This course provides an introductory survey of the kinematics and dynamics of mechanical systems. Topics include Newton’s Laws of Motion, Conservation of Energy and Momentum, Fluid Mechanics, and Static Equilibrium. Lecture topics will be reinforced by laboratory experiments. Upon completion, the learner will be able to apply basic physical concepts to real world applications.
