NMED 256 - Patient Care
Description
This course examines the practices and equipment used to address physical and mental well-being in the diagnostic imaging department. Topics include performing safe patient transfers, evaluating and managing vital signs, recognizing and responding to patient emergencies, and obtaining and interpreting an electrocardiogram. An introduction to pharmacology and methods of drug administration in the nuclear medicine department are also presented.
