CHEM 351 - Oil Field Chemistry and Fluids Introduction
Description
You will be provided with an overview of common oil field chemicals and fluids, their properties and functions. Topics include rock types and reservoirs, drilling and completion fluids, acidizing and fracturing fluids and cementing. You will obtain practical experience in testing various fluids. An appreciation for safety and the environmental impact of petroleum production will also be discussed.
