INST 202 - Process Instruments I Description Process Instruments I provides an exploration of the measurement of three (pressure, level, temperature) of the ‘big four’ processes. Topics in this course include: the language (terminology) of process measurement; the science of measurement (Metrology); how pressure, level, and temperature of a process are measured; along with the generation (transmitters) of pneumatic, electric, and digital signals. Learners will acquire experience with these measurement devices through hands-on laboratory exercises.
