SCMT 1255 - Introduction to Supply Chain Management Description Supply chain management (SCM) is the movement of material and information through integrated processes in a supply chain to provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. The key building blocks of a supply chain, Logistics, Procurement, and Operations Execution will be covered. You will explore the scope of supply chain management and its impact on organizations. You will be introduced to the different career opportunities in supply chain management and you will start developing the skills and competencies needed to support the integrated SCM process.
