CMPS 207 - Operating Systems and Networks Description This course introduces the fundamental concepts of operating systems and computer networks, focusing on practical skills for software developers. Students will learn essential system administration tasks across Windows and Linux, including user management, file permissions, and scripting for automation. The course also covers core networking principles, such as network configuration, protocols, and basic troubleshooting, with an introduction to cloud computing environments.
