ITSC 4010 - Cryptography Description Cryptography refers to methods of secure communication in the presence of adversaries. In this course, you will review the history of cryptography and learn about classical, substitution, and permutation ciphers. You will be introduced to symmetric and asymmetric (public and private-key) encryption protocols, message authentications and digital signatures, and learn about their properties. The course concludes with an examination of security flaws and vulnerabilities of various cryptographical schemes.
